Car Alarms: resetting alarm, jeep grand cherokee, resident technicians

Question
I just install a stereo system in my 04 jeep grand cherokee special edition. now my alarm is not working. I think that it just needs to be reset but not sure how to do so. When I arm the jeep you can hear the doors lock and unlock,but there's no horn sound or lights flashing. Please help me if you can.

my resident technicians there can assist
with this project. I don't know enough
on this system to advise you properly.
