Chrysler Repair: Wiper problem - 2007 Chrysler 300, 2007 chrysler 300, differential diagnosis

Question
The wipers work only on high speed and do not fully retract down when turned off.  They do not work at low speed or on intermittent setting.  Any suggestions?

Hi Jim,
It could be the wiper motor hi/lo relay in the power distribution center under the hood. So try swapping that out with another relay with the same part number to see if that fixes it. If not, then it could be the hi/lo switch, the body controller itself, or the wiper motor. But that requires a circuit diagram, a test meter, and some skills to do the differential diagnosis.
I am limited in my expertise to models pre-2000 so make no claims for such a new model as you have there. The cost of the manuals is beyond this volunteer effort.
By the way, I would believe that it should be warranteed still so you may be able to have the dealer fix it for free.
