Chrysler Repair: overheating, head gasket, head gaskets

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2004 300M special.it started heating up recently so i had a mechanic change the thermostat and he also bled the air out of the engine.it was doing good for about two days but then started heating up again.when i accelerate the temperature goes down but when i stop at a red light or put it in park the temperature goes up.i tried looking for my self today and i found that only one fan{passenger side} turned on.i don't know if this is the problem?i read on a forum that it might be the head gasket also.any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

ANSWER: turn on the ac see if the other fan comes on plus have a compression test done  yes head gaskets are an issue with that kinda car.

Answer
u should really have it check out to see if u have an electrical issue  or mechanical issue. Unless u have some tools to which u can test motors and relays and wires   plus an exhaust gas tester to see if the head gasket is broken  u are simply guessing to which issue U have.
