Motorcycle Repair: jetting a 1982 CB750C, relative novice, cb750c

Question
Hello,  Thanks for your help. I have a 1982 CB750c and I'm puttng a new set of Mac 4 x 2's exhausts on her and K&N filters. I live at 4400 ft. elevation and would like to know a good place to start to set up my carbs (Jets, and settings.. etc.).  Can you help me on that and are there any good carburator set up manuals out there that can guide a relative novice like myself?  Thanks,  Mack

Answer
Well, I'd start by raising the floats 1.5 mm.  Then I'd raise the needles valves in the slides .030 inches by placing small washers under the seats.  Then I'd change out the 102 main jets to something like 115-125 and see if I needed any more. With raising the floats, you may not need to go any bigger on the main jets.  I'd recommend running it and checking the plugs before changing main jets.
