Chrysler Repair: 1990 Fifth Avenue Electrical problems, radiator cooling fans, blower motor

Question
My son has a 90 fifth avenue. One day the power windows, AC control (blower will not work), radiator cooling fans, reverse lamps, all quit working. Have checked all fuses and relays. The air bag light also came on. Seems strange. Possibly a common ground. Please advise. Thanks

Answer
Hi Bret,
No, not a ground problem but rather a fuse or the ignition switch itself. Check the 50 amp "blower motor" fuse in the power distribution center under the hood. It might have a subtle crack in it. It feeds the ignition switch on a pink trace wire, which when "on" feeds several fuses for all the items you described as not working.
So it pretty much has to be that fuse, or the switch.
