Chrysler Repair: heater doesnt work: 94 minivan, chrysler town and country, radiator core

Question
I have a 1994 Chrysler town and country and there was a leak in one of the hose up front for the coolant, that got replaced and the heat doesn't work. Coolant has been put in the radiator and when the van is at normal temp and heated up, the actual heat that goes into the interior of the van doesn't ever get warm, it blows out cool air.

Answer
Hi Abby,
I suspect that you have an air bubble in the heater core circuit, but test first by feeling the two hoses that go from the engine compartment to the cabin in the center and fairly high on the firewall. If after everything is warmed up the two hose feel equally hot then that is not the problem, and it has to do with the internal air door position in the heater/ac housing. But if one hose is hot and the other much cooler then you are not getting coolant flow thru the radiator core. Let me know what you observe and which engine you have and we can go on from there.
