Chrysler Repair: Chrysler Keyless entry not functioning: 97 minivan, drb iii, gran voyager

We replaced the battery in our 97 Gran Voyager. After replacing our Keyless entry has no function. How do we reset this??

Hi Rick,
In order to program a RKE fob that isn't working you have to have one that does work, according to the manual I am working with. If none works then we have a problem that may require interfacing with the dealer's diagnostic readout box (DRB III). Are you sure that the gear shift position was in Park when you tried the RKE? You might try again to see if it will recognize one of your fobs. If you can get one to be recognized I can tell you how to reprogram any other that doesn't work. So let me know what happens. According to the manual the RKE module is supposed to memorize the programming even though the battery is disconnected. Have you checked that the battery of the fob itself is not weak or improperly mounted?
