Chrysler Repair: 2005 town & country headlights, fuse box, dash board

QUESTION: Hi Kevin,

I have a 2005 town & country 3.3L
For the last couple of nights while driving the headlights will go out for a few seconds and come back, the dash board lights will stay working, the longest they have stayed out is about 15 seconds. the check engine has NOT come on. I do not see anything weird going on when this happens with the van other than the headlight going out.

ANSWER: possible headlight switch, Front controller  or IPM aka fuse box.

QUESTION: Kevin thanks for the answer, is the front controller the same as the bcm are the headlights controlled by the bcm?

Answer
no the BCM is inside  the  front controller is outside attached to the PDC or fuse box.  This is the route that the headlights take.  U turn them on via the switch  then it gets sent info to the BCM  then bussed out to the FCM and the FCM will supply the power to the bulbs.
