Chrysler Repair: 90 Daytona: right front turn signal doesnt work, running lights, turn signal

Question
right front turn signal does not work and if the running lights are on, the light will go out.I have changed the bulb and the flasher unit. i am fairly sure i have power comming from the flasher.I can't buy a new socket for this model as they are obsolete, any ideas?

Answer
Hi Jim,
I would begin by checking the individual relay for that bulb, each turn signal has its own relay. The relay block is located on the left side cowl, the panel just to the left of the driver's left leg. Look for a relay labelled RT FT TURN and try exchanging that with its neighbor which is for the left side front. See if that solves the right side but transfers the problem to the left front bulb. If so, then you will know you need a new relay.
Let me know if that doesn't work and we can get into some detailed measurements of the rest of the circuit.
