QuestionMy question involves Chrysler part #82206958. (Which is the female connector. $138) To the existing mounted 10 pin male connector for a trailer harness on a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee located in the left rear quarterpanel. I did not want to pay $138 for the part so I hardwired a standard seven pole Harness and all my trailer lights work fine including trailer brake (after controller install)and back up lights. But for the life of me I can not figure out what the yellow/black wire in port #5 is for.
Can you tell me what ports 1-10 are for and also what the wire colors are from the male (vehicle) side.
