Chrysler Repair: 2002 concorde limited TCM, emissions control, keys to the car

Question
QUESTION: My 2002 Concorde Limited is throwing an P0700 internal TCM code, where is the TCM (EATX) module located on this model? I spoke to 6 different service departments, got quotes from 445.00 to 1100.00,to it's covered under the 8yr 80,000 mi. Federal Emissions Control warranty. No one has answered the question as to whether the PCM and TCM are combined as one unit,( which the warranty would cover),or it's two separate units.

ANSWER: the p700 just says that u have a code in the TCM not that u need a TCM. Depends on what system u have if u have an NGC computer  the last 8 of the vin will let me know this.  and only a PCM will be under the 8 80  not a TCM.

QUESTION: Thanks, the vin# is 2C3HD56G52H284057,the trans shifts to 'limp in mode',When i scan the codes only the P700 shows,no other codes are displayed,i.e.speed sensor, pressure levels etc. Shutting the car off for about 30 seconds resets the tranny, and the car runs fine.

Answer
u still need to have some shop scan the tranny computer unless u want to waste money on a computer. And yes the TCM and PCM is one unit. IF u have a gray key and u install the PCM u will need to have a dealer program the pcm and program the keys to the car again.
