Hi Tony,
Those lights are of course indicating a malfunction of the abs and traction control systems. Unfortunately the electic control of the lights is not simple disconnection issues as they are controlled by digital communication from the anti-lock controller that is mixed in with all other sorts of data for the rest of the vehicle. So you can't stop the illumination in any simple means. The vehicle is still safe to drive as long as the brake warning light is not also on. But repairing the abs system is the only way to turn them off as far as I know.
