Chrysler Repair: 99 Chrysler Sebring A/C, chrysler sebring, radiator fan

QUESTION: When I turn on the A/C the condensing (radiator) fan does not turn on. The fan wiil work when the car gets hot. I pulled the cooling sensor and the fans run on high speed and the A/C works fine. I would like to know how the fan is commanded on by the A/C.



ANSWER: so your ac does not work then correct? U could be looking at a pressure switch.

QUESTION: Looking at the high side of the compressor their is a pressure switch that has 3 wires going to it. Does this control the fan? If so what speed is the fan supposed to run - High of low? Can I jump out the switch to test the relay function? Is the switch wired as an input to the microprocessor or is it hard wired to the fan relay?

all sensors go back to the PCM then the pcm will make the decision on what to do based off the sensors and switches.
The best way would be to look at the sensors  in the computer eyes  see what its seeing and go from there. Did u get my email i sent back to u?
