I have a '95 Cirrus LXI 2.5L V6, Auto Tran and 250 000kms on the clock, that has had a starting issue that has degraded over the last 4 months to the point of it will not start at all now. The Engine is turning over but there is no spark present, and no codes are being found in the computer. Also the local dodge dealer in an attemt to find the problem reflashed the PCM which has awoken the VSS in the car, and it was not factory equipt.... now the guys at the dodge here are stumped and not quite sure what to do, so any help would be great.
ANSWER: they will need to put in a new BCM and PCM at the same time to correct this issue.

QUESTION: now that would correct the VSS problem, but what about the no start issue that was already there? with there being no codes showing, the only thing that PCM shows is a torque limit and in excess of 112 mph. Which the no start, no spark, no code issue was pre the VSS problem. Any Ideas on the no Start issue?
ANSWER: if the alarm was woken up and u say u dont have one the PCM now wants to see the alarm ok from teh BCM and well u said it does not have an alarm so the PCM will never see the alarm ok from the BCM thus it infected both PCM and BCM with teh software fro the alarm. I see this often when some one swaps out a PCM trying to get it to work and then when trying to start the BCM will see that the PCM wants to see an alarm OK and then both get messed up.

QUESTION: ok, let ignore the VSS issue that Im having, I can work around that problem for the moment and its a mute point if the car will not start. What would cause a No start, (engine is cranking), No spark, and cause no codes to show up in the PCM? and this issue was there for 4 months before the VSS problem came along.
Answerok let me ask u a question if u go into DR office and tell him your head hurts and they go about trying to figure out whats wrong and they say u more then likely have this issue and then u come out and say oo BTW i have had this issue for 4 months now does not that change the outcome of what they do?? In the case of your car it does so for my sake and yours wasting my time and yours take it to a dealer and let them play with it i cant do anything more for u.
