Chrysler Repair: Radiator fans not working: T&C. Relay location?, check fuse, radiator fans

1999 Town & Country  radiator fans are not coming on. check fuse. Shop manual says there is a radiator relay which I can't
locate.

Hi Carl,
Ah yes, the mysterious fan relay location. It is a solid state relay that evidentally needs more cooling so (in the '98 model) it is mounted by a strap to the left side frame rail in the engine compartment, just behind the lower left corner of the radiator panel. If that is cause, it may well be you are covered by a factory recall on that relay because of premature failures in the vans sold in the latter half of the '90's. Also try jumping directly to the fan plug dark green wire from the battery to verify that the fan motors are working. If you don't find the relay where I described it to be, then look under the left side headlamp module (where it was positioned in the '00 model). In any case just follow the dark green wire to locate it.
