Chrysler Repair: Chrysler Cirrus 2000 Hot/cool knob, chrysler cirrus 2000, chrysler cirrus

Question
This was fixed by the shop over a year ago and this time my husband wants to try and fix it.
The ( lever ) on the back of the hot/cool knob (red to blue)
fell off and I am left with just cool air.

My husband has taken off the front panel (where radio and knobs are)  and is trying to see in back there to find the lever that needs to be fixed.
Is there any information that you can give that might help him?  Thank You.

I have the '97 Cirrus/Stratus manual which describes and shows how to get to the lever. It would be more useful if you had the 3 pages that show how to get to the lever and make the repair than to just type in the steps. So if you will use the "thank and rate" tab you will find a place to enter a comment where you can tell me a postal mailing address to which I will send you xerox copies of those pages.
