Chrysler Repair: Codes from my 97 Chrysler Sebring JX 2.5, chrysler sebring jx, chrysler sebring

Question
QUESTION: My question how to clear the codes from my Chrysler Sebring that cause the "Check Engine Soon" light to come on. I went out today and performed my own diagnostic check by turning the ignition on and off 2 times and waited for the check eng. lites to blink and recorded them. I found the following and wondering what to do first to repair it myself...
12 Memory standby power lost (battery cable disconnected).
31 Evapator Purge solenoid circuit open or shorted or Evap. solenoid circuit.
21 Oxygen sensor signal out of range possibly shorted

ANSWER: which o2??  hell replace them both for good measure.
The evap purge might be a fuse, wires, sol it self, pcm  Worry about turning off the light later.I live in the Atlanta area if u would like I can look at this for you.

QUESTION: Im in Balto., MD area sorry to say! But thanks anyway! I figured if I turn off the light it might pass emissions inspect! So do I have to get a techs diagnostic to find out the what to actually replace? I hate to buy and replace parts I can't afford! Thanks so much for your time.

Answer
U wont be able to get an inspection if u unplug the battery or clear the codes. The whole basis of doing the inspection is that your car passes 3 of 4 tests that has been built into the software sense 1996.  One egr,o2 heater, evap system and a cat converter test  all of the tests will run then it will pass. If u clear the codes it erases all of the test data and u will haft to run through all of them again or u will fail. Why i say replace both o2s  if one is working better then the other it will show up in performance and passing tests.
