Chrysler Repair: error codes, 4 digit numbers, obd ii

2001 Chrysler T&C - my engine is running rough and stalls until it warms up.  Is there a way I can get access to the error codes without having a plug-in computer? (aka the old "paper-clip / short out / count the flashes" method)

Hi Jack,
I can't be sure for the post-2000 models but try turning the ignition key: "on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer to see if the mileage is replaced by 4-digit numbers prefaced by a P which are the OBD-II type codes. If not, then try an Autozone parts store which often does the readout for free.
Let me know the codes and we'll go from there.
