Chrysler Repair: 1994 Concorde, check engine light comes on while car is running, compressor clutch, ac compressor

My check engine light comes on while we are traveling.  I took your suggestion and I turned the ignition on/off/on/off and in the on position.  Check engine light blinked 3 times and then paused then blinked 13 times.  Do you have any suggestions.  Sam

Hi Sam,
The number of counts between each pause has to be a number between 1 and 9. I would suggest that you repeat the count. I suspect that what you may have there is 3-3-5-5 which totals to 16 counts. If that is what you have then the issue has to do with AC compressor clutch circuit or the pressure of refrigerant in the system is too low or too high. If there is nothing wrong with you AC, then it must be some other set of numbers. So check that count again and let me know.
