Chrysler Repair: 1999 Town and Country mini van, key switches, key cylinder

Question
QUESTION: The doors will lock and unlock without touching the key fob or buttons on the door. We noticed this when the door would be unlocked after we had knowingly locked it. What could be causing this?

ANSWER: key switches inside the door on the key cly it self there are 2 or 3 of them they like to lock the doors back.
If u live near Atlanta I would look at this for u.

QUESTION: I don't understand what you are saying. Are you saying that it could be something with the switches inside the door? Or the key cylinder?? I live in Newnan.

Thanks

Answer
there are little switches behind each key cly on 2 or 3 of the doors. When u turn the key in the door  it will disable the alarm and unlock the doors that is what that switch does. When they go bad they like to give the single to lock the doors back again. I am on the north side of ATL
