Chrysler Repair: Aftermarket HIDs, fuse box, conversion kit

QUESTION: I just installed an HID conversion kit in my 05 Dodge Ram. It only requires that you plug in one of the factory 9007 harnesses for the plug and play harnedss. When I turm my headlights on the lamp out indicator lights up on the dash and my HIDs go on and off, on and off repeatedly. How can this be bypassed?

ANSWER: not with normal stuff  u will need to contact who ever u got eh hids from and see what they say because dodge is not set up for that sorta stuff.

QUESTION: They said something about a capacitor and diode but I couldn't understand the rest.

your factory head lights are powered from a computer in the fuse box  u changed how that computer liked things so it wont work unless u fool the computer into thinking that u have the original lights  and how to do that i have no idea  I dont mess with after market things I only deal in factory items.
One other note  if u get it wrong doing what ever u plan on doing  u might plan in your budget in replacing the computer and the fuse box for when it shorts out.
