Chrysler Repair: 98 Concorde, concorde lxi, exhaust gas recirculation valve

Question
QUESTION: Hi Kevin i was in contact with Roland the other day regarding my 98 Concorde LXi 3.2 litre which is flooding out badly. He advised me to check the exhaust gas recirculation valve to see if it was sticking adjar but it seems to be OK. He then advised me to try and get a fault code readout which i managed to do. I can't get it back to him as he seems to be maxed out with questions at the moment so i figure hey why not get a second opinion lol. The code is p 1684. Any help from here on from either of you gentlemen is greatly appreciated. Just please don't tell me it's my comp :(.

Thanks Again
Bert

ANSWER: 1684 is battery disconnected in 50 starts. How do u know its flooding ne way? IF u were in fact adding a lot of fuel more then say 30% the check engine light would come on with a fuel system rich code. SO tell me what the prob is in detail what the car is doing and so on.

QUESTION: This is the message i sent Roland earlier...
1998 Concorde 3.2 Litre: Won't start, smells gassy
The engine floods out bad as soon as i turn on the ignition to start. The car was running fine untill i stopped to gas up after my low fuel light came on.It floods so bad im getting fuel mixed in my oil. There's no way it will start.Im thinking it's the comp but that's only a guess.Any advice will be appreciated.Thanks.
P.S. The reason i know it's flooding is that if i turn the ignition switch on to start you can smell gass from 10 feet away. Why it would give a disconnected battery code number beats me.

Answer
if u smell that much gas then i would look for a leak first and not a computer issue. Move some fuel lines around. Can u smell it more in the front or the back  around the tank. U said it started after u filled it up so I would say some where around back  hose popped off or something along that line.
