Chrysler Repair: Overhead courtesy light replacement:LHS, evidentally, lamp socket

Hi Roland,
I have an '00 Chrys LHS, I know the size bulb to replace the courtesy/map lamp in the front overhead console, what I need to know is how do I change the bulb?

Hi Warren,
There are evidentally three types of consoles:
two that are larger, one with the travel info center and one without the travel info center
and one that is smaller and only has two lamps.
Let me know which one you have.
It appears that the consoles are retained in the roof by spring clips at either side so that you grasp the sides and pull down. Then you remove the lamp socket. If there is a screw on the windshield side of the console you would remove that and pull down on the front of the console. If you have the one with the travel info unit you will find  4 mounting screws once you take it down. You then remove the lamp socket to replace the bulb.
If this doesn't make sense, then tell me what you console looks like or what features it has and I will then be able to be specific.
