Chrysler Repair: 92 LeBaron: no turn signals, hazard flashers, or brake lights, turn signal switch, hazard flashers

Question
my turn signals and flashers won't work,and now my rear brake lamps are inop.center brake lite still works

Answer
Hi Glynn,
The center brake light by-passes the turn signal and hazard flasher system so that is why it still works.
I would start with the fuses: under the dash-6;
                     power distrib. ctr. under the hood-36
                          which is the end fuse next to the
  radiator fan relay.
If those are OK then the combo flasher which is yellow, located under the instrument panel to the right of the steering column and clipped to an AC duct is suspect.
Beyond that you have the possibility of a faulty remote turn signal switch or faulty turn signal cancellation/hazard switch but I would test the function of those before assuming either of those is the problem. Finally there could be a wire disconnected somewhere in the circuit.
So start with the fuses and the combo flasher, then if that doesn't fix it and you have a multitester and the interest in trouble shooting the circuit I can share the pages from the manual that tell you about that.
