Chrysler Repair: 93 Chrysler Imperial: heater questions, automatic temperature control, temperature control unit

Question
Need to know where the upper to lower blend door for air is located. And wire code hook up for the fan that is in front of heater coil: there are three wires red, white, black on a metal bracket with a sensor or something on it.  Thank-you for your time.

Answer
Hi William,
The '93 year is one that I don't have a manual for so I am only able to base an answer to your question on similar models in nearby years. Even more is the problem I have with the term 'upper and lower blend door' because the blend door is the one that controls the temperture of the air to the cabin. The door that controls distribution of air is the "mode door". Is that the one that you mean? And I am unclear about the "fan in front of the heater coil: do you mean the large air blower for the unit or perhaps do you have the automatic temperature control unit with a little fan on the dash board for the in-car temp sensor and sun sensor on the right rear of the cluster? Otherwise can you explain what you mean by the "fan in front of the heater coil"?  I would not expect all the wires to be simple solid colors (red, white, black) but rather a solid color plus a separate trace color. So please give me some help in understanding what you are describing and where it is. I assume that you car is the older-style body which ended in '93 to be replaced by the LH body in '93 and later years, correct? And is it indeed a automatic temperature control type of unit?
