Chrysler Repair: Trans cooling lines, how are they routed:2.5L V-6, engine coolant, chrysler cirrus

Question
I have a 1995 Chrysler Cirrus, 2.5V6, 4 speed automatic transmission. I have seen two different configurations for the transmission cooling lines. As you look at the transmission from the front of the vehicle, the two cooling line connections are directly above the Input speed sensor. Which line goes to the cooler and which one goes directly to the radiator?
Thanks,

Answer
Hi John,
My '96 manual shows the nipple on the left (as seen from the front of the vehicle)is "from the cooler" and the one on the right is "to the cooler". Then at the radiator the upper inlet on the right side of the module (as viwed from the rear, fan side, of the unit) is called the "cooler inlet" which to me would be the one to receive the hose from the right "to the cooler" nipple on the trans. The front of the module shows the rectangular box (is that the cooler?)proper with the line that comes comes from the left (as viewed from the front of the car) being labelled the "return" and no label is shown for the line that comes from around the right side of the fan module (again as viewed from the front of the car).
This is quite confusing to me. The view from the rear of the module (which shows the cooler inlet nipple to be at the top on the right) also shows a u-tube, the lower appears to attach to the lower right side radiator manifold and the upper of which appears to go arount to the front which I would thus presume is the "return" line. I am not clear, but is the little rectangular box the actual cooler, or are there a series of tubes mixed in with those for the engine coolant not shown? I have to admit some ignorance of this system. But that is what my Chrysler manual shows. Let me know please if this if of any help, and whether you understand what is going on. Thanks.
Roland
PS The manual for a 98 Sebring V-6 appears to show that the hoses from the transmission are routed thusly:
the left nipple at the trans hose is connected to the line that comes from the rectangular box (auxiliary cooler) that comes around the right side of the module as viewed from the front of the car; and the right nipple trans hose appears to be connected to a pipe very low on the module but slightly to the left of center as viewed from the rear of the module. Very interesting....?
I would wish for a clearer diagram.
