Chrysler Repair: What is the normal reading of the temp gauge?, hatch latch, plymouth voyager

Question
QUESTION: I have the 3.3 v i just wanted to know is it recommended to change the timming belt on this engine , if so wene?  oh ya am, can U please explain to me how the heck U get the back latch assembly off including the lock and door handle  TKOs a million ?
ANSWER: Hi Edward,
You are in luck as regards the timing "belt": it doesn't have one! Just a simple timing chain so nothing along that line is of concern.
I believe that on the hatch latch you have to remove the interior trim panel (at least that is what is shown for the '98 model; I also have the '95 manual which is simpler so let me know if the one that follows (from the '98) doesn't seem to apply and I'll send you the other text for the '95):
You have to remove the mouldings from around the window, believe it or not..
Remove lift gate upper frame molding (the very top)
Remove upper frame side moldings
Remove screws holding assist handle to liftgate and facteners around the perimeter of the lower trim panel
I.e., pry courtesy lamps from liftgate trim, disconnect wire connector from lamps
Remove  stop lamp cover and fasteners holding the trim panel
Disengage hidden clips holding trim panel to liftgate from around the perimeter of of liftgate.
Remove liftgate trim panel. The latch is then removable by detaching the connecting linkage rods, and then the screws.
Install is reverse.
Good luck on this project.

Answer
Hi Edward,
Your gauge is running right where it is supposed to be (the middle), and normally could range around that point by an angle of the needle of +/- 15 degrees. That is how the shop manual describes it. So I wouldn't worry at all.
Thanks for the kind words, too.
