Chrysler Repair: 94 Plymouth Sundance heater fan/blower resistor block, windshield washer fluid, plymouth sundance

Question
Roland,

Thank you so much for your privious answer.  However I did not properly state my problem, it is the heater fan / blower that is not working, I checked the 30 amp fuse and it is fine, it is my understanding that there is a relay and a resistor that could be the problem,  I do not know how to locate these parts.  Could you point me in the right direction?  Thanks again John

Answer
Hi John,
There is no relay involved in the circuit, But there is a resistor block that will fail. It is located in the engine compartment:
Raise hood and remove wiper arm assemblies
Remove the 5 screws and lift off the cowl plenum grille
Remove the 4 air intake shield attaching screws and remove the shield
Remove the two screws attaching the resistor block cover to the to the resistor block. It is located behind the windshield washer fluid bottle. Detach the plug from the resistor block.
Remove the 2 screws that retain the resistor block and pull it out carefully. Reinsert the new block carefully so that the coils are not touching oneanother. Separate the coils gently with a finger tip if they are touching.
That is the procedure. If the blower runs only at high speed that is the usual cause of the problem.
