Chrysler Repair: 96 Sebring conv. heater, coolant level, festive holidays

Question
Wil:  Thanks for participating in this q & a!  We have this heater that blows out semi-warm air.  Coolant level is fine, new thermostat and a flushed out cooling system.  We had it to the dealer last spring for this problem, and I have a vague memory of some kind of solenoid that is the problem - Any ideas?  Thought it was going to be quite expensive to repair.

Festive holidays to you and yours, Bill Hodge

Answer
If it doesn't get hotter when the rpms raise and your temp gauge is in the center. The problem may be with the blend air door actuator.Since you probably don't have access to a chrysler scan tool. You can try to reset the system by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
