Chrysler Repair: chrysler Town and Country Wipers, chrysler town and country, 3liter auto

Question
My 2000 Chrysler Town and Country (lx with 3.3liter, auto trans) has had windshield wiper issues for the past year.  The problem is usually a 3 or 4 wipe at a time while in the intermittant mode, sometimes not wiping at all until switched off then on again.  regular and fast modes work fine.  I did have one time where the wipers would continue to run when shut off, and the parking was not normal.  I have read your suggestions for other T&C owners with this problem, and have replaced the multifunction switch with no changes and replaced the relay with no luck.  I chased the ground wire in the loom coming from the wiper motor to find the ground, and it goes to the bc module under the dash.  Could the problem be in the motor or maybe a low voltage situation?  It seems to work fine when being tested in the garage, and displays these symptoms when driving in the rain.  thank you!

Answer
I don't think I've answered any wiper problems yet. That said....The intermitten wipers are controled by the bcm.The other 2 speeds aren't.So I would never have recommended a switch. If in tracing that wire back you didn't find any issues with it.Then it is pretty certain that the problem is within the bcm.It would be a good idea to check the module for trouble codes. But you will need a pretty good scanner for that.
