Chrysler Repair: Untraceble electical short????, electronic problem, body flex

Question
Hey Will,  I've got an electronic problem with my 2002 Chrsysler Sebring Convertible, the car radio would fade on and off. then it would go off totally. I noticed that remote locks also stopped working, interior lights off, and finally break warning lights stopped working.  My mechanic  showed me the fuse that gets blown...replace the fuse and everthing works again. Only to get blown out again.  I have done my best to identify what triggers it.  Sometimes the radio would play when when I break, other times only when I excelerate.  I've noticed the lites in the panel, you know, where there's green lights, flicker dull to bright when I use the turn signal...but not always.  Most recently, I watched the clock on the radio station indicator fade right out while I raised the convertible top. I wish that were it, unfortunately, the radio and remotes have conked out without the convertible top triggering it.  that's the best I can tell you.  If you can give me some guidence I'd appreciate it.

Answer
The thing about convertibles is that they have alot of body flex.I was working on one once where the abs fuse blew.I raised it up in the air and the wouldn't blow until I lowered the car.So what  I'm saying is you need to get a wiring diagram and start tracing the wire back from the fuse  to see if its close to any sharp surfaces. Its tedious,I know but thats the only way you will find it.
Or you could as someone I used to work with.Put a larger fuse in it and follow the smoke. But I don't recommend that.Thats the best I can tell you.It could be anywhere.
