Chrysler Repair: Ignition Switch keeps blowing, chrysler town and country, solinoid

Question
I have a 1996 Chrysler Town and Country  3.8 litre V6.  The 40 A fuse in the engine compartment keeps blowing.  I try to start the car, it will click but not turn over.  You can hear the click and then after about 10 to 15 tries, the fuse will blow.  What is the cause of this?

Answer
I sounds as if the solinoid in the starter is shorted.the next step I would take would be to disconnect the green wire at the starter and then cycle the key as many times as before to see if the fuse blows again. It should not click.Next I would trace that circuit to see what else it powers.
