Chrysler Repair: Change computer?, trouble tree, prudent approach

Question
I have replaced the MAP sensor. Now the trouble tree says to replace the computer. Where is it? How do I remove it. Doi need the eom?

Answer
Hi Dean,
If you wrote earlier I will look it up as best I can. But if this is your original question I would do better if I knew which vehicle you have. The PCM (computer) is usually on the leftside of the engine compartment (driver's side) and it is associated with the air intake in order to cool it, in most of the designs. I don't know if there are aftermarket products, but you may need to have it programmed in some manner by a dealer so getting it via the parts dept at the dealer is probably a prudent approach. If you are certain there is no other explanation then that is the answer. But I would be interested in knowing what the codes are, history of the problem, etc.
