Chrysler Repair: 97 2.4L Stratus Front End Growl, wheel alignment, worn tires

Question
Roland ...
1997 Stratus 151k miles ... I have a growl that is speed dependent and sounds like it is coming from the drivers side front. I have replaced the LH wheel bearing hub, cv and halfshaft. Seemed to help a little (just hoping maybe) but still quite loud at speed. Noise goes away in a lh turn but louder in rh turn. Can not seem to find any info on lower transaxle parts or repair.
Thanks all.

Answer
Hi Wayne,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, the server was shut down for a while.
You certainly replaced the typical suspects. I assume that you when you did the half shaft that both cv's were replaced. According to the manual I have for the '96 Cirrus the other possible explanations are:
A weak engine mount (at the transmission I would assume) allowing the metal to ground against the frame rail, incorrect wheel alignment, or worn tires. So those are the ones I would check out.
Please let me know if you have other questions or how you resolve this. There is always the possibility that the right side could be bad (say the inner cv) which gives you the impression that the source is on the left.
