Chrysler Repair: camshaft position sensor, chrysler cirrus, camshaft position sensor

Question
I have a 1995 Chrysler Cirrus LXi, 2.5L V6. The question is I have 5 wires coming out of the camshaft position sensor and it supposed to be 6 right. The wires that connect to the wires on the position sensor has 5 wires instead of 6, would I have to get all the wires replaced for the camshaft position sensor and have ir re-wired.   Thank you


Answer
The cam sensor is integrated with the distributor on the 2.5L.  If you look back there then you'll find a second connector that has a single wire in the connector.  I beleive the connector can accomodate two wires but only a green with red or green with orange wire is housed in it.  See if that's not the other wire you're looking for.
