Chrysler Repair: shifter hard to move, soft drinks, assault and battery

my car is 300M 2001
it is too hard to move the transmission shifter from level ot another, form P to R or from N to D like that. I face this problem after washing the car engine from the bottom, do you think is need lubrication?

You more than likely need a new shifter cable or the shifter mechanism itself.  The cable can fray and the shifter is subject to assault and battery with soft-drinks causing it to get sticky after a while.  

Washing under the car more than likely didn't cause the problem and lubing this component is not an option.
