Chrysler Repair: 1995 Chrysler Cirrus Cooling Fan Reversing, coolant temperature sensor, air temperature changes

Question
I replaced the cooling fan in my '95 Cirrus and the coolant temperature sensor.  The air conditioner works great until the engine reaches operating temperature.  Then the high speed fan stops and reverses direction causing the air conditioner to blow hot air.  I replaced the compressor, expansion value, dryer and the high pressure transducer switch already.  I still can't figure out what to do.

Answer
Hi John,
I am at a loss to understand how the cooling fan (are you speaking of the high speed fan at the radiator?) can run in the reverse direction because one side of the motor is grounded and therefore unless there is a source of negative polarity voltage appearing at its other side it will not run backwards. There is no known source of -12V in the system.
Are you sure that it reverses direction? Is there a period of time during which it slow to a stop and then starts up in the opposite direction, or does this happen very rapidly?
You are not describing the action of the cabin blower fan when placed on 'high' speed, or are you? If so, does it reverse when set on other fan speeds?
If the fan you have been speaking of is the cabin fan, then are you saying that instead of blowing out from the vents it sucks air into the vents? or is it that the air temperature changes from cold to hot but still blows outward from the vents into the cabin?
Please let me know answers to these questions and I will try again to understand what might be the cause of your problem.
