Chrysler Repair: 2001 Dodge Neon and occasional starting problems, dodge neon, dirty fuel

Question
Pete,  your greatness preceeds you,
I have a 2001 Dodge Neon that occasionally has a hard time starting.  It doesn't seem to be temperature related, and can act up during a cold start as well as when the engine is already warm.  Every once in a while, when I try to start it, it will crank and not start.  The solution that I find works is to put my foot to the floor and cranking it again.  While cranking, I take my foot off the pedal and it'll start everytime.  Flooding?  Why?  I'm afraid to let other people borrow the car...
Many thanks!
Mark

Answer
Hello Mark
To me i belive you have dirty fuel injecters i would get some castle injetion cleaner from the parts store and put in the gas tank this should soulve the problem.

Also when the injecters get dirty they will cause flooding see it in the shop all the time .

of course this stuff will have to work in the tank so give it a week bet u will be surprised.

Good luck if you need more help let me know .

please rate my serivice
