hi i have a real problem in here with my chrysler voyager 2.5 diesel engine,year 1999.it was working properly since i got it on 1999 brand new so, now the engine doesent start ,i changed the battery with a new one but the problem still , i verified alll the fuses they are fine , the electrician in here told me to bring him a new controle module (part number:k04686662ac)he instaled it and we got ALARM SET led on , and the problem still though. and since then almost three months the car is at the garage. please any help . thanks

I thought a bit more about your problem. It may be that the theft alarm system is treating the attempt to start the engine as if the person is a thief. If that is the case, it will crank and start and then shut down is a few seconds. If that is the case you have to disarm the system by locking and then unlocking either front door using the door key. If that doesn't clear the problem, then it could be that because the control module was replaced without programming it for the remote key frequencies, or perhaps without properly removing the old module, that the new module has been thrown into a alarmed setting where it will refuse to start as described above, but also it may be a "hard" alarm that requires a diagnostic readout box (DRB III) to interact with new module to clear the alarm. So if the mechanic is not Chrysler-trained you might contact a Chrysler dealer for advice or have it towed to the dealer to see of they can clear up the theft system from being in an armed state (LED "on") and not being able to clear that state.
