Chrysler Repair: electric door lock switch removal, there some kind, lock switch

Question
I have a 2003 chrisler sebring 4 dr sedan. How do I remove the driver side electric door lock switch. I took the  screw out of the bezal plate but it still is in real tight and I am afraid to pry too hard with a putty knife. is there some kind of keeper holding this bezal on? If there is which side is it on.

Answer
Hi Ronald,
I am not personally familiar with the way the door lock switch bezel is set up in the 4 dr. sedan. The best I have is a '95 coupe manual (the first year of the Sebring line) and I notice that one of the door bezels does have a groove on the rear edge, and the instruction is to push the bezel forward in order for the groove to clear the edge of the panel which holds it in place, then try to lift bezel away from the panel. I of course don't know if this applies to the bezel you are dealing with, but a "move" of that type might be just what you need to do. I agree about not prying too hard; it is probably some sort of subtle push that will allow you to remove the bezel.
