Chrysler Repair: Fuel Rail, dodge dynasty, fuel rails

Roland, its me again. my 1991 Dodge Dynasty
i took it to a repair shop for a tune up they told me that my cars Fuel Rails would need replaced i have a 3.3L V6 they told me it would cost 9 hundred dollars to fix does this sound correct
and is this a job i can do,and do the parts cost
a arm and a leg.

Hi Bill,
I looked into that quite a while ago, maybe a year, and found that the rail was around $225. My '91 manual shows it to be a 13-step procedure and I can xerox and send that to you. So check with the parts counter and verify price and availability then decide if you want to do it yourself and save about $650.
