Chrysler Repair: stereo in 2001 town and country, hi doug, auto stereo

cd changer in 2001 town and country will accept cds and all the lights on changer work properly. When I hit tape/cd button display on head unit does not reflect that it has any indication of a cd being in the changdr. When a tape is in cassette deck it works as advertised.I.E. goes from radio to tape function. Is it a problem with cd changer or head unit?

Hi Doug,
This area is outside what I am expert in. I did look in a '95 Sebring manual but it doesn't really speak to this sort of behavior. If there is no expert on auto stereo here then you may have to look for another site or Yahoo group that specializes in auto stereo.
