Car Alarms: 2001 dodge stratus, pep boys, work matter

okay, I have took this thing to several machanics, pep boys today charged me 95.00 and told me it's my manuf. alarm has shut down my ignition, help what can I do? I tried the little trick with the key in the door turning it from left to right, ya.....didnt work matter of fact I opened my car door with out turning off the alarm and nothing happen! I try to start my car I have to push it, please help.

Ok, need to find a car alarm installer locally.
Once you do, give him these notes:

Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
ORANGE (-) Located in the drivers
kick panel area.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.

That should do it for you.
