Chrysler Repair: Key Switch Codes, 1994 chrysler lhs, chrysler lhs

Question
my car has been overheating alittle and having to refill the antifreeze revsevior ...did the key switch code thing and came up with codes
33, 35 and 41 oh yeah also 21 and 12...its a 1994 Chrysler LHS

Answer
Hi Thelma,
The relevant code is the 35 which says there is something wrong with the radiator fan control circuit. So begin by jumping 12V from the battery to each of the fan motors to make sure both fans are o.k. Then let the engine warm up and watch to see if one (low speed) fan comes on as the gauge nears 5/8 scale and the other (high speed) as the gauge nears the red zone. Then go to the power distribution box under the hood near the battery and exchange the low and high speed fan relays and see if the fan non-function reverses. If so, the original location relay for the fan that didn't work in that configuration is bad.
The 33 is about the A/C clutch relay circuit not responding, the 41 is about the alternator not putting out a high enough voltage for good recharging of the battery, and the 21 says the oxygen sensor is not functioning. The 12 says the battery was disconnected recently (last 50 key on-off cycles).
So I would focus on the fans and their relays to see if fixing that solves the overheating issue.
