Chrysler Repair: Just bought a 1994 LeBaron..., lebaron convertible, postal mail

Just bought a 1994 LeBaron convertible with 99000 miles (confirmed).  Two questions.

The motor works on the windows but the two quarter panel windows drop down about 1 inch and will not stay up.  Is there an easy fix?

The temp control lever for a/c and heat does not slide much.  Is stuck on cold side and has about 2 inches of movement.Great for a/c but stinks for heater.  Easy fixes?

On the heater situation, the cable for the temp control attaches to the blend air door which mixes variable amounts of heated and cooled air for the desired tempeature. It may hust need adjustment and lubrication. This requires a bit of removal of the center panel but it is tractable. If you would like a copy of the pages from the shop manual that show how to do it, give me a postal mail address and I'll xerox copy and snail mail it to you.
