Chrysler Repair: RPM, Odiameter not working, crysler sebring, coolant temp

Question
Why is the RPM and odiameter not working on my 1997 Crysler Sebring Convertable?

Answer
Hi David,
The signals to run the rpm and speedometer/odometer as well as the coolant temp gauge, fuel gauge, and low fuel warning lamp are all carried in digital form on the twisted pair of wires that plug into the rear of the cluster and come from the body computer module next to the fuse box under the dash. If ALL those signals were missing then I would suspect the wires or plug-in. But if some of the signals appear to be accurate then I would believe that the electronic unit in the cluster itself that supports the rpm and speedo/odo has gone bad. But you might want to verify as well that fuse 11 in the fuse box under the dash is o.k. So take a look at all those and at the readouts and see if they are all not working or just the rpm and s/o.
