Chrysler Repair: Power window problem, snail mail, salvage yard

Question
I have a 94 Town & country with a passanger side power window problem.Sometimes the window will roll down but won't go back up until the van sits for a while with the key off.I've replaced the motor and window switch on the passanger side, but still have the same problem.I can roll the window up with the master switch(when it's working),but not down.Do I need to replace the master switch,or is there a relay that runs the passanger side window motor? The parts I used were from a salvage yard. Thanks

Answer
Hi John,
Thanks for the kind feedback. I copied the diagrams and mailed them to you this afternoon.

Hi John.
I am using the '93 manual but I doubt there were any changes, paticularly if the rear windows are manually operated (by '96 it appears all four windows were power driven. If that is your case let me know and I'll look at that circuit). For the right window to work from the master switch side the contacts in the right switch that are supposed to be in contact with oneanother when the switch is "at rest" must also be connected well. And a different set of contacts in that switch are used to either raise it or lower it from that right door switch. But when the master will not work it in one direction but will in the other then the master switch has a compromised contact. So it may well be that you need to clean up the contacts in both switches. I have the continuity chart for each of those switches so if you have a volt-ohmmeter I can type that in for you,  or alternatively I can xerox and snail mail you the wiring diagrams for the system. I would try first getting a can of spray contact cleaner and shooting it into the switches to see if that will eliminate some oxidation on the contacts. But write back with a postal mailing address and I'll send you the circuit diagrams. There is no relay involved in this circuit.
