Chrysler Repair: TURN SINGALS, turn signal switch, amp fuse

Question
HI, I HAVE A 1995 CHRYSLER CONCORD 3.5 LTR, MY TURN SIGNALS HAVE STOPPED WORKING. I HAVE CHECKED ALL OF THE BULBS ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE CAR & THE FUSE, ALL ARE GOOD. IS THERE A RELAY OR A WAY TO RESET THE TURN SIGNIALS (LIKE THE AC SYSTEM) ALSO, I CAN HEAR NO CLICKING SOUND WHEN I TURN ON THE INDICATOR CAN YOU HELP? THANKS

Answer
Hi Tony,
Have you looked for a blown fuse in the fuse box (also called junction block) under the dash on the driver's side?
I believe you will find labels on the fuses and that a 10 amp fuse in position 3 may be the one that powers the turn signals. If the hazard flasher also doesn't work, then the chances are good that the problem is with the combination flasher that is used for both the turn signal and the hazard flasher function. If the hazards work, then we have a possible wiring problem or partial failure of the turn signal switch, but before we get into that let us assume that both the turn and hazard function is shut down. In that case the combination flasher unit has probably quit. It is located under the dash and plugs into a socket mounted under the air duct on the driver's side of the car, between the fuse box and the steering column. It is cubical in shape.
So check the fuse, and the functional issues, and then either get a new combo flasher or write back wit a report.
Good luck.
