How do I remove the left front axle from the transmission on my 95 LHS. Do I have to take off the trans pan to remove a clip.  Thanks

Hi Rob,
I checked my Haynes '93-97 manual and saw nothing about having to drop a trans pan to remove the half-axle. It there is any clip it might be on the stub shaft sticking out of the trans, but if it doesn't pull right off, then take a large pry bar and pry between the cv joint housing and the trans housing to lever it off, without doing any damage. I haven't worked on an LHS so this is just based on the Haynes manual.
