Chrysler Repair: CHRYSLER CIRRUS, chrysler cirrus, 2000 chrysler cirrus

I have a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus LXI.  The fan on the heater and air conditioner only work on high.  Is this something that I can repair myself or do I need to take this to a mechanic. I would appreciate it if you you could tell me what to look for to repair the fan.

Thanks for the rating and response. And I am glad to learn you were successful in getting the heater fan to work on all the speeds. On your other project, you are far more knowledgeable than I on that. I have to admit my experience is minimal with GM and Ford. Chrysler is about the only U.S. make I have dealt with, if you don't count Studebaker, Packard, and Kaiser, may they rest in peace. But power to you.
